How to Use Them

Candles melts are simply candle wax scented with the same fragrance oils used to scent candles. But rather than lighting a wick and using an open flame to warm and the melt the wax, there by dispersing the fragrance, you simply place the candle melt into the ceramic bowl, set the bowl on the electric warmer and allow the warmer to melt the wax scenting the room.

Since candle melts have no open flame to consume the wax the wax will remain after the fragrance has been depleted. There are two ways to dispose of the left over wax.

CAUTION: Hot Wax

The best way is to allow the wax to cool to room temp then put the wax into a freezer for 20-30 minutes. Once hardened the wax should easily pop out of the ceramic bowl. Another way would be by using oven mitts to pour the left over wax into your garbage and wipe out the melter with a paper towel.

If the fragrance has not faded but you desire to switch fragrances, again simply allow the wax to cool then harden in the freezer before removing the wax from the bowl. Then simply save the wax, storing in a plastic bag, till ready to use again.

Please note: The wattage of the candle warmer you use and the size of bowl on the melter can affect scent throw. For example, a lower wattage wax warmer will give off a lighter scent throw than a higher wattage warmer, but on the plus side the scent in a lower wattage warmer will often last longer than same scent in a higher wattage warmer. A larger size bowl will have a larger melt pool (liquid surface area) and that in turn will also give off stronger fragrance than a smaller bowl with a smaller melt pool. Again, our entire line of candle melt fragrances are quality tested using the 24-watt warmer we sell online.
